"A Hero's Initiative" is a SFW Boku No Hero Academia Zine centered around the tabletop game Dungeons and Dragons.
"Roll to Seduce" Is our spicier PDF add on for all of you Bards out there.
This is an unofficial fan project. We have nothing to do with Kohei Horikoshi, or the official release.

what is a zine?
A zine is a fan-made, unofficial booklet containing art, stories, or cosplay photos based around a series, theme, or ship. They can be in digital form, or printed as a physical book.
Do I need to be 18+ to participate?
Yes. Although this is a primarily SFW project, we may have a slightly spicier add on. All contributors must be over the age of 18 by the end of the application period to participate.
Is this zine for profit or for charity?
A Heroes Inititative will be a for Profit Zine.
Is this an RP?
No. This is a ZINE not a roleplay.
No, This is a fanzine!
This project is a fanzine that will include BNHA D&D themed fanart and fanfiction with additional merch and a D&D Podcast.
Who can Apply?.
We're glad you asked!
If you are over the age of 18 you may apply to our project once applications open! We will be looking for Artists, Merch Artists, Cosplayers and Fanfiction Writers!
Will there be any restrictions on Content?
Content restrictions
Yes.
Heroes Initiative is a SFW zine, therefore NSFW content will not be allowed in the main zine.For the add-on there will be additional restrictions. Currently those restrictions are:
No Scat.
No MCD.
Is this meant to be just fantasy setting, or the characters playing D&D?
Our zine will feature both styles of content, both the characters in game setting as their characters, and out of game rolling their stats! We will require some indication that it is Dungeons and Dragons in the former.

Head Mod Arson is the fearless leader of our Mod Party, and a veteran of many campaigns in the Zine Universe. These Campaigns include:- My Hero Halloween - Head Mod, Graphics, Socials- Tie Me Up - Head Mod- Let's Start a Riot - The Everything Fill in Mod- FanHoliyay Merch Box - Head Mod Graphics
Mod Ouka has completed many campaigns as an Artist while adding to their skill set. They're ready to help our Artist class casters to add some color to our campaign .
A long time contributor, and first-time mod, Mod Cat has high stats in Art and Graphics.
She really has no idea how she got here. Honestly. But she's here now and lookin to cross class! She currently has 2 characters she plays as, an Aasimar Warlock and a Tabaxi Artificer Alchemist!
Mod Aki is a longtime veteran of Zine related quests with high stats in Writing and Betaing.She has been on Campaigns including:
-Cam Star Heroes- Beta Mod-My Hero Halloween
Submerged- Writing and Beta Mod-Tie Me Up-Writing and Beta Mod-Gilded- Writing and Beta Mod
Mod Bunnie is a long-time player of Dungeons and Dragons, she enjoys the Necromancer class. She has high stats in Financing and her previous quests include:- Ashes to Ashes ( ShigaDabi -Zine)
- Decadance (Sugar Baby Zine)
- Touch Starved (Shigaraki Zine)
- Electric Feel (Denki Zine)
Mod Shini loves D&D and has played casually for years. She has high stats in shipping and is currently leveling her social media stats. Some of her previous Mod Quests include:- Electric Melody (Kamijirou)- Electric Feel (Denki Zine)- Touch Starved ( Shigaraki)- Tie Me Up (Shibari)

Mod Goo is our illustrious Dungeon Master and leader of our side campaign! They've completed countless campaigns, but in the Zineverse their experience includes such quests as:-Cam Star Heroes (Cam Stars)- Adamantium (TodoKiri)- Touch Starved (Shigaraki)- ZappyCat (Shinkami)
Application Requirements*
-WritersPlease provide 2-4 samples in a Google Drive folder (if we need to: link a tutorial on how to make one) following these guidelines:/Max total w/c for all pieces = 6k/Each piece must be at least 1,500 words and all pieces added together must not exceed 6k.
/At least one BNHA sample.
/At least one SFW example (this can be an excerpt from a NSFW piece)
/SFW and NSFW samples accepted but please tag properly in the doc. & label accordingly (eg: (NSFW) Piece title - Author name)
/Please do not include any MCD or scat. Any pieces found with these will be disqualified with no notice.
Page Artists and Cosplayers
Please provide 3-6 samples in a Google Drive folder (again tutorial if needed) following these guidelines:/At least one BNHA sample.
/At least one SFW sample is required as the main zine will be SFW.
/SFW and NSFW pieces are
acceptable for Page Art only. We would prefer no NSFW cosplay samples.
Please put all NSFW in their own labeled, separate folder within your sample folder.
/If you are applying as a comic artist: at least one example must be a comic
/Do not include Sketches or WIPS - fully rendered, finished pieces only please./ Please include at least one full piece with Background, or in the case of cosplay at least one edited photo.Portfolio judgements based on good understanding of anatomy, complete backgrounds and composition.
